For as long as I can remember I have always had a passion for dogs. From reading dog breed books and volunteering in a kennels as a child to completing a two-year level 6 equivalent qualification in dog behaviour and training, and everything else in between. I am confident in the fact that I know dogs and their needs extremely well.
I have my own dog, Jeffrey, a Staffordshire bull terrier cross, who inspired me to delve deeper into the world of dog training. Unexpectedly going into lockdown just after getting him, I was lucky enough to spend so much crucial time on his puppy training, which I now understand not everyone has the luxury of getting. Creating the bond I have with my own dog and the lifestyle we share together greatly inspired me to help others!
Alongside dog behaviour and training, I have 7 years professional experience in pet care. From starting out dog walking and providing day care, I have also cared for dogs in holiday boarding and residential training, experiencing all aspects of pet care. This experience has taught me so much about dogs, their owners and the importance of their relationships with each other, which is why I am now solely committed to helping owners achieve the best possible relationship with their dogs.
I do not believe that there is a “one size fits all” approach to dog behaviour and training, which is why I will always learn as much as possible about your lifestyle with your dog and adapt my techniques and knowledge to your specific needs.
